With the new emphasis on Family of Parishes, the Parish Pastoral Council is an option that our parish may utilize to communicate more effectively within our parish boundaries. The Parish Pastoral Council is a viable communication tool within the parish that helps communicate to its members the events, goals and direction the Family of Parishes has decided. The Parish Pastoral Council may assist the Family Pastoral Council Council in working for the good of the four parishes that comprise our Family of Parishes.
The Parish Pastoral Council may develop Christian relationships of charity, energize the Parish for worship and service, and constantly renews efforts to work for justice, truth and love.
The Parish Pastoral Council may be secondary to the Family Pastoral Council but its importance will continue to be to serve as the unifying body providing encouragement and support for the Parish as a whole and working for the good of the Family of Parishes.

This group promotes the right to life by alerting parishioners to workshops, seminars and opportunities to reflect upon the teachings of the church and providing encouragement and conviction toward the Catholic Church's position on the right to life. This group meets about four times a year to assist persons whose lives seem in any way endangered, such as the unborn and the elderly. This group also sponsors a clothing drive each Spring and Fall.
